This standard provides the requirements for mobile data communication in agricultural and forestry tractors and machinery. It covers connection of control units, displays and sensors as well as the exchange of data between them. This article provides an overview of what’s included in the standard.

It specifies the requirements for data communication between electronic control units (ECUs) and defines the message format, synchronization, data security and network management.
