Imvula Quality Protection (Africa) Pty Ltd, based in South Africa, has received ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications from Pacific Certifications for its occupational health and safety and environmental management systems.
The certified scope for ISO 45001:2018 is The Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) of iMvu- a Quality Protection encompasses all company facilities, operational deployment zones, and personnel within the Republic of South Africa. It governs all core services, ranging from physical asset guarding and armed tactical or VIP protection to electronic security infrastructure and 24/7 control room monitoring and surveillance.
The certified scope for ISO 14001:2015 is iMvula Quality Protection’s nationwide Environmental Management System (EMS) covers physical guarding, tactical response, electronic security, and 24/7 surveillance and alarm monitoring via its National Command Centre. Applied across corporate offices, control rooms, depots, and field sites, this framework addresses carbon emissions, hazardous chemical waste, and e-waste in compliance with ISO 14001:2015 standards and South African environmental law.
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. It addresses workplace hazards, health and safety risks, worker participation and continual improvement.
ISO 14001:2015 sets requirements for an environmental management system. It supports the management of environmental impacts, compliance obligations and operational controls across the activities within the system’s scope.
Pacific Certifications issued the certifications following its independent assessment and certification process. Each certification confirms that the relevant management system meets the applicable standard’s requirements within its stated scope.
iMvula will keep its environmental and workplace safety systems aligned with the way the business operates. Internal reviews and team discussions will help uncover concerns early, improve working practices and resolve problems. Independent surveillance audits will provide added assurance that both systems still meet ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
