Cyberbox Network, based in Lagos, Nigeria, has received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification from Pacific Certifications for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).
The certified scope states: “The Information Security Management System (ISMS) covers all data, technology, people, and operational processes involved in the provisioning and delivery of Cybersecurity & Risk Assessment, IT Consultancy, Managed Services, Information Security Compliance, and Security Awareness Training & Professional Services. These operations are managed and executed by CyberboxNetwork from its primary location at 1 Ogunnusi road, Ogba Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.”
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 specifies the requirements for establishing, operating, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system. Its risk-based framework helps organizations protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information through appropriate policies, responsibilities and controls.
For Cyberbox Network, the certified ISMS brings the information security responsibilities supporting its professional and managed services into one structured system. It applies across the data, technology, personnel and operational processes used to deliver the activities included in the approved scope.
Pacific Certifications issued the certification following its independent audit and certification process. The certificate confirms that Cyberbox Network’s ISMS meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for the services and location identified in the certified scope.
Cyberbox Network will regularly assess its security arrangements as client needs, technologies and information security risks change. Planned audits and leadership reviews will help the team identify weaknesses, investigate issues and strengthen controls where needed. Surveillance audits during the certification cycle will provide an independent check that the ISMS continues to meet the standard’s requirements.
