ISO/IEC 27001:2022, jointly developed by ISO and IEC, sets requirements for an information security management system. It uses a risk-based approach to help organizations protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information through appropriate controls and ongoing evaluation.

The standard addresses leadership, documented information, operational planning, performance evaluation and continual improvement. For Cred ID’s specified activities, these requirements provide a framework for managing information security responsibilities across platform development and service delivery, including the governance and operational processes supporting its verification and compliance services.

Pacific Certifications issued the certification following its independent assessment and certification process. The certification confirms that Cred ID’s information security management system conforms to the standard’s requirements within the certified scope.

As Cred ID’s operations grow and security risks change, the company will regularly review and strengthen its information security management system. Internal audits and management reviews will help the team identify concerns and take corrective action, while independent surveillance audits will ensure the system continues to meet ISO/IEC 27001 requirements within its certified scope.
