ISO 22000:2018 sets out requirements for a food safety management system for organizations involved directly or indirectly in the food chain. It combines management system principles with hazard-based food safety controls, helping organizations identify potential risks, assign responsibilities and monitor whether their controls are working as intended.
For RUH AL TURATH GENERAL TRADING – L.L.C – S.P.C, the certified system provides a structured framework for managing food safety throughout the movement and handling of its listed products. This includes maintaining suitable controls for storage, distribution and online retail activities within the approved scope.
Pacific Certifications issued the certificate after completing its independent audit and certification process. The certification confirms that the company’s Food Safety Management System meets the requirements of ISO 22000:2018 for the activities stated in the certified scope.
As the business develops, RUH AL TURATH will adapt its food safety procedures to cover new products, suppliers and ways of selling. Routine checks and leadership reviews will help the team find weaknesses and resolve them. Follow-up assessments by the certification body will verify that the certified system continues to work as required.
