AFM KOZMETİK VE TEMİZLİK ÜRÜNLERİ İMALAT İTHALAT İHRACAT LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, based in Turkey, has received GMP certification and ISO 9001:2015 certification from Pacific Certifications.
The company’s audited scope is Manufacturing of ready-to-use toilet paper, paper tissues, cleaning or face tissues and towels, tablecloths and napkins (made of paper pulp, paper, cellulose wad or cellulose fiber nets).
ISO 9001, published by the International Organization for Standardization, specifies requirements for a quality management system. It addresses process planning, responsibilities, documented information, performance evaluation and continual improvement. These requirements provide a framework for manufacturers to define product requirements, monitor processes and address nonconforming outputs.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) focus on how manufacturing activities are controlled, including personnel, premises, equipment, materials and production records. The applicable GMP scheme determines the specific requirements used in the assessment.
Pacific Certifications’ role is to conduct independent conformity assessment and make the certification decision against the applicable requirements. AFM’s ISO 9001:2015 certification concerns its quality management system, while the GMP certification concerns the manufacturing practices covered by its applicable criteria and scope.
AFM will regularly check its day-to-day processes and make changes whenever its certified operations develop. Audits, leadership reviews and follow-up measures will help the company fix problems and strengthen its quality practices. Independent surveillance audits will also verify that AFM continues to meet the conditions of its certification.
