ISO 4 Information and Documentation-Rules for the abbreviation of title words and title of publications
ISO 4 sets out the rules and regulations for the abbreviation of titles of serials or if appropriate nonserial documents by using alphabets of Latin Cyrillic and Greek languages. It is commonly used by scientific journals that are published in regular installments. It contains the list of title word abbreviations known as LTWA for example under ISO 4 standard the journal of biological chemistry is mentioned as j biochem Capitalization is also an important component of this standard.
